Gift of Art Certificates
There is no gift more treasured, more individual, or unique than original art and fine crafts. But few of us want to guess at someone else's tastes. Or perhaps there's no time left to find that unique gift for a special occasion.
Tides Gallery has the perfect solution in its Gift of Art program. Gift certificates of flexible values and no expiry date. You can get one certificate to cover everything, or a group can get several certificates that add up to something special.

Thank You to Our Sponsors & Volunteers

We deeply appreciate Parsons Investments, Kings Arms Pub, and the Half Acre Cafe, sponsors of our Guest Artist Wall. These community-minded enterprises makes cultural enterprise possible for our region. Because of our sponsors, Kings County region gets to see the work of young, local emerging artists. Sponsorship also allows Tides to offer established, nationally known artists a chance to hang with us in Kentville for a month or two. Good for the gallery. Good for the community.
And another huge thank you to our volunteers who help sit the gallery and provide insights for visitors about the artists and their work. We can always use more volunteers and we express our appreciation in two ways: a small art piece at the end of the year for each volunteer, and at the same time, a volunteers-only workshop by one of our gallery artists. For 2020, it's a workshop on introductory print making.
As a part of the Kentville Art Gallery Society, we believe in public art, community arts/crafts education, and the economic and social benefits to our community from cultural enterprise. We thank the Town of Kentville for its support, in particular for understanding that cultural enterprise is different—plain and simple.
